LGBTQ+ people are always having to create new names: for self, for love, for home. This series featuring leading voices in LGBTQ+ literature explores what it means to make a home in words. Each show will feature a new celebration of queer poets.July will celebrate the 5-year anniversary of Pride Poets, who write poems for strangers at Pride; August will celebrate the first showcase of the award-winning West Hollywood Slam Team; and September will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of RENT Poet, the challenge curator and former West Hollywood Poet Laureate Brian Sonia-Wallace took to pay his rent through poetry.

July 26: Pride Poets 5-year Retrospective with members of the Pride Poets
August 16: Other Words for Home: West Hollywood Slam Team Showcase with poets Pastiche Queen, Tee, Missy Fuego, Nate Lovell, and Raul Herrera
September 13: RENT Poet 10-year Retrospective with director Linda Ravenswoo

Hours

Box Office is open one hour before curtain.

Poetry may contain strong language, sexually explicit themes, drug use, abuse, & other mature themes.

Ticket Info

In Person (Day-Of): Tickets can be purchased in-person at the box office beginning at one hour before each show.

COMPANION SEATS:

2 for $10: Fridays, purchased in-person or online. A TeenTix member may purchase a $5 ticket for themselves and another person of any age ($10 total) for Fridays shows at this venue. Always call ahead to plan for companion tickets.
