2. TeenTix LA - Recruiting New Advisory Board Members

TeenTix LA, a new Los Angeles youth development organization, is seeking leaders with backgrounds in fundraising; media/entertainment; marketing; and youth development to support our mission as advisory board members.

About TeenTix LA:

TeenTix LA builds a bright future for our region by empowering young people to take an active role in shaping their arts community as audience members, critics, influencers, advocates, patrons, and leaders.

We exist to break down the barriers that prevent teens from accessing art in our community, such as ticket or admission cost, not knowing where to look for events, navigating transportation around the city, and feeling insecure around arts-going if there's no one in their lives already championing the arts. Our cornerstone program, the TeenTix Pass Program (which launched in LA in December 2021), allows any teen (age 13-19) to sign up for our free Pass and get access to $5 tickets to our list of 30+ arts/cultural partners (including Pasadena Playhouse; Latino Theater Company; East West Players; Skirball Cultural Center; and more!). Our calendar of events is a one stop shop for teens to feel set up for success for the art-going process. Learn more about TeenTix LA here and here!

TeenTix LA is fiscally sponsored by Community Partners and the first official chapter of TeenTix in Seattle which has been a pillar in the arts community in the Pacific Northwest for two decades.
