The LACHSA Cinema 64 Hour Film Festival is a fast-paced filmmaking challenge designed to inspire crews of student filmmakers to push past their creative limits in a collaborative competition over one weekend, otherwise known as 64 hours.

Student crews are assigned a unique film genre and challenged to infuse six required story elements into their short films, which re not to exceed a runtime of six minutes & forty seconds (6:40).

Each team has 64 hours to incorporate all of the required elements into their original screenplays and work together to complete all phases of production by casting, directing, shooting, producing, and editing their 64 films.
