It’s a feverish flurry of music, dance, and one of the greatest divas in history – Motown royalty Diana Ross as Dorothy. Sidney Lumet’s dazzling and energetic screen adaptation of the groundbreaking 1975 musical has all the heart, soul, and funk you could dream of. Dorothy Gale, a shy kindergarten teacher, is swept away to the magic land of Oz (that looks suspiciously like a glittering Manhattan) where she embarks on a quest to return home while picking up some new furry (or is it plushy?) friends along the way.
