Wax on, wax off, once again. Before Cobra Kai, before Jaden and Jackie, there was Daniel-san. The enduring classic from 1984, director Robert Mark Kamen’s The Karate Kid delivers a swift kick in the coming-of-age film’s pants by sending a New Jersey teen with a chip on his shoulder to Reseda. In a search for friends, he finds some of cinema’s worst bullies at the Cobra Kai dojo, and a mentor named Mr. Miyagi, who teaches Daniel to trust his spirit as he trusts his body. Starring Ralph Macchio, Elizabeth Shue, William Zabka, and the late, great Pat Morita, the original Karate Kid is still the best around. With a chance to see it on the big screen, nothing’s gonna ever keep you down.

Box office is open 90 minutes before showtime. Our video store is open daily and available to hang out in before and after most shows, depending on the showtime.
