Terry Chatkupt: A Year
Check out this FREE arts exhibit!
This exhibition of recent artwork by Pasadena-based artist Terry Chatkupt uses the vast, wild terrain of the San Gabriel Mountains as a backdrop and inspiration. Referring to the year under lockdown, A Year investigates the complex relationships between natural and built environments, outdoors and indoors, and the emotional effects of navigating between these dualities from the point of view of Chatkupt and his young children. The exhibition's video, photography, atmospheric music, and installation works extend this investigation to the complicated, caring, and often magical relationships between parent and child, focusing on the complexities of life during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
