What defines the sound of American music? Under the visionary leadership of Artistic Director Rachael Worby, MUSE/IQUE explores that question in an immersive concert experience that blends live music with storytelling and cultural context. Tracing the lineage from Aaron Copland’s groundbreaking vision to the artists who followed, this program celebrates an unmistakably American sound — open, optimistic, and rooted in folk tradition. From Copland’s Simple Gifts to Paul Simon’s American Tune, it reveals how the expansive musical language of one defining composer continues to resonate across generations.
