LACHSA Theatre Presents: Clybourne Park

Clybourne Park is a Pulitzer Prize–winning play by Bruce Norris, first produced in 2010. Conceived as a satirical companion piece to Lorraine Hansberry’s A Raisin in the Sun, the play examines race, housing, gentrification, and generational change through two acts set in the same Chicago home—first in 1959 and then in 2009. Known for its sharp dialogue, dark humor, and fearless confrontation of social taboos, Clybourne Park has become one of the most celebrated and frequently produced American plays of the 21st century, earning both the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Tony Award for Best Play.
