Jazz drummer and composer Eric Ching brings his deeply creative approach to the stage for a dynamic evening of music. Currently based in Los Angeles, Eric’s performances blend color and rhythm with a sense of exploration, inspired by jazz legends like McCoy Tyner, Herbie Hancock, and Kenny Garrett. His compositions unfold with a searching quality, filled with unexpected twists and musical narratives reminiscent of a Tarantino film. Having studied under Akira Tana in the Bay Area and honed his skills at New York University, Eric has collaborated with celebrated artists across the jazz and blues scenes, promising a night of innovative drumming and captivating musical storytelling.
