James Love

James Love brings his "cool" jazz vocal stylings, reminiscent of mark Murphy, Johnny Hartman and Nate King Cole to the Birds stage.

James Love has a definite vocal presence and "cool" jazz demeanor, like that of the old masters of vocal jazz (Nat "king" Cole, Johnny Hartman, Mark Murphy) whom he admires.

James Love has many years of experience performing on stage with major musicians at various venues throughout the US. James was a featured vocalist for AGAPE INT'L CHURCH / LA for nearly ten years.

In 2003, Love produced his first solo CD, "INVITATIONS" that received favorable reviews from varied jazz publications including "All About Jazz" and " LA JazzScene".

Currently, James is in the studio creating his follow-up album entitled "Hello Like Before". He anticipates a release by early summer 20026.

James Love is back on the scene and he is reviving his talents with new material and a new approach to do what he loves to do....SING!!
