Here Lies Love is a groundbreaking musical about former First Lady of the Philippines Imelda Marcos and her family’s rise to power and subsequent fall at the hands of the Philippine People Power Revolution. Witness her journey through “exhilarating songs” (USA Today) and “imaginative spectacle” (The Guardian) over “90 breathless minutes” (The Washington Post). 

Featuring music by Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award winner David Byrne and Grammy Award winner Fatboy Slim, and direction by Center Theatre Group Brindell & Milton Gottlieb Artistic Director Snehal Desai, comes an all-new production (the first since appearing on Broadway in 2023) in a transformative experience combining disco beats and adrenaline-fueled choreography. The show goes beyond Imelda's near-mythic obsession with shoes to explore true questions of authoritarian rule and responsibility. It is a story fueled by greed, power, and disco that feels as timely today as ever.

Here Lies Love is playing at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles from February 11 - March 22, 2026—a musical with music from David Byrne and Fatboy Slim that tells the story of the former First Lady of the Philippines.

Ticket Info

Online (Day-Of): Click here and use code TEENTIX beginning at 10am on the day of each show. Select the $5.00 ticket price to view availability and to select your seat.

In Person (Day-Of): Tickets can be purchased in-person at the box office beginning at 12pm the day of each show (11am on Sundays).

By Phone: Please call Audience Services at 213.972.4444 on the day of the performance you would like to attend for availability.

A TeenTix member may purchase a $5 ticket for themselves and for another person of any age ($10 total) for Tuesday shows at this venue. If there are multiple performances on a Tuesday, it is at the venue's discretion to decide which performance is eligible for this deal. Always call ahead to plan for companion tickets. Be sure to bring your TeenTix Pass and your valid ID to the box office to pick up your ticket on the day of your performance.

Not valid on previously purchased tickets and cannot be combined with other offers. Limit one $5 ticket and three full price tickets per TEENTIX membership. Limit two $5 tickets and two full price tickets per TEENTIX Membership for Tuesday performances.
