Join Vidiots as we celebrate what would have been the 100th birthday of the legendary Harry Dean Stanton with a special screening of the critically acclaimed, unusually poetic documentary Harry Dean Stanton: Partly Fiction with director Sophie Huber in conversation with Logan Sparks (Lucky) after the screening! Evening hosted by Cherry Jones.

An iconic actor in his intimate moments, with film clips from some of his 250 films and his own heartbreaking renditions of American folk songs. Lensed in colour and B+W by Seamus McGarvey, the film explores the actor’s enigmatic outlook on his life, his unexploited talents as a musician, and includes scenes with David Lynch, Wim Wenders, Sam Shepard, Kris Kristofferson and Debbie Harry.

This program will kick off a celebration of Harry’s legacy, featuring special guests and screenings throughout the Fall.

Box office is open 90 minutes before showtime. Our video store is open daily and available to hang out in before and after most shows, depending on the showtime.
