Join us for Isao Takahata’s masterwork of animation, a stunning and enduring story of human resilience in the face of the cruelties and personal and universal tragedies of war. Beautifully depicting the real life accounts of survivor Nosaka Akiyuki, this touching film starts in the final days of World War II. After their mother is killed by an American air raid, a family of orphans is forced to survive in a bomb shelter, clinging to their fleeting moments of happiness in their bleak and brutal reality.


 

Hours

Box office is open 90 minutes before showtime. Our video store is open daily and available to hang out in before and after most shows, depending on the showtime.

$5 tickets available when the box office opens!

A TeenTix member may purchase a $5 ticket for themselves and for another person of any age ($10 total) for everyday shows at this venue. If there are multiple performances on a everyday, it is at the venue's discretion to decide which performance is eligible for this deal. Always call ahead to plan for companion tickets.
