Vidiots is excited to welcome director Annette Haywood-Carter for a special screening of her coming-of-age cult classic Foxfire.

Teen girls take on the world in this quintessential slice of 90s riot-grrl sensibilities by way of Joyce Carol Oates’ seminal coming-of-age tale. After a teacher sexually harasses a group of high school girls, their bond is secure and their need for power and revenge leads them to crash cars, raise hell, and literally set the school on fire. A fashionable time capsule with a young Angelina Jolie, Jenny Lewis of Rilo Kiley, and one of the coolest chicks ever – Jenny Shimizu in this cast of young bad-asses, it’s the perfect film to watch with your girl gang!
