Join exhibiting artist Carmen Mardónez to push the boundaries of embroidery and create expressive abstract designs. Mardónez has developed her own style of embroidery by using needle and thread in a free and gestural way. Participants will work with Mardónez to transform commonly used fabrics and old clothes into something new. Don’t forget to visit Mardónez’s work in the exhibition Strings of Desire. Craft Lab is for all ages, everyone is welcome!
