Get lost in the exquisite vibes of Satyajit Ray’s delicately textured masterpiece of a woman’s creative and romantic longings in nineteenth century India. Charulata is the lonely wife of a determined and absent husband, momentarily lit up artistically and amorously by a visit from a relative of her husband. Based on a short story by the great Rabindranath Tagore, Charulata is an intricate tapestry of textures; a graceful tale of a marriage in turmoil and a woman taking the first steps toward finding her own voice.

Box office is open 90 minutes before showtime. Our video store is open daily and available to hang out in before and after most shows, depending on the showtime.
