CASUAL: works in process by Los Angeles artists

CASUAL returns! Since 2019, CASUAL has created space for Los Angeles performing artists to show a work in process and engage in experimentation and critical exchange with audiences. The work can be loose, between the spark of an idea or an excerpt from a new performance in development. CASUAL aims to create a dialogue with an engaged and enthusiastic audience that feels useful to the artist’s practice and process. For this year's lineup, we are thrilled to present the interdisciplinary stylings of Anuj Bhutani, Cade Moga, Cayla Mae Simpson, and Vic Marks--who represent work at the intersections of music, movement, theatre, projection art, and more.
