A stunning adaptation of Bizet’s opera Carmen starring eternal icons Dorothy Dandridge and Harry Belafonte. In this 20th-century retelling, Carmen is a worker in a parachute factory and her conquest is a military private. A tragic tale of love, lust, jealousy, unfaithfulness, and murder – Carmen Jones is a luminous vehicle for the dazzling Dandridge who became the first Black woman nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award.

Box office is open 90 minutes before showtime. Our video store is open daily and available to hang out in before and after most shows, depending on the showtime.
