Behold the force of nature that is Teyana Taylor in her breakthrough performance in A.V. Rockwell’s gripping and tender story of Black motherhood. Taylor plays Inez, a single mother playing by her own rules in 1990s New York. Forced to kidnap her own child from foster care after a stint in Rikers, the ground beneath their very feet threatens to collapse at every turn, even as her son and family grows. Moving, powerful, and touching, this portrait of family life in an unjust society comes alive with dynamic performances, evocative cinematography, and the perfect Quincy-Jonesesque soundtrack.

Box office is open 90 minutes before showtime. Our video store is open daily and available to hang out in before and after most shows, depending on the showtime.
