2026 Summer Play Reading Series

Join us on select Tuesday nights at 7:30 p.m. from July 28 to September 15, 2026 for our FREE Summer Play Reading Series!

One of the hallmarks of Theatre West is that not only do we have distinguished actors among our theatre company, but we also have distinguished playwrights. Many of the plays that have been developed at Theatre West not only have been produced as mainstage shows on our own stage, but they have also gone on to Off-Broadway as well as been developed into award-winning feature films such as Chazz Palminteri's A Bronx Tale.

The Summer Play Reading Series is a chance to hear plays written by both our veteran and next generation of playwrights read on stage by talented actors.
